I have been immersed in music since the age of 4, when I mastered the skill of putting a record on a turntable and laying down the tonearm. The singers, musicians and songwriters became my heroes and have inspired a lot of my drawing and painting. Here are some of my favorites. I'll add to this as I create more. Still have to do Eric Clapton! Jimi Hendrix! So many more.

One of the first records I bought for myself was the 45 of "I Can See For Miles."
The Who are an English rock band formed in 1964 by Roger Daltrey (vocals), Pete Townshend (guitar), John Entwistle (bass) and Keith Moon (drums). They became known for energetic live performances which often included instrument destruction.  The Who have sold about 100 million records, and have charted 27 top forty singles in the United Kingdom and United States.

Pete Townshend (born 19 May 1945) is an English rock guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and author, known principally as the guitarist and songwriter for the rock group The Who, as well as for his own solo career.

Bob Seger (born May 6, 1945) is an American rock musician and singer-songwriter with a career spanning five decades. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. SOLD

Perhaps the world's greatest living guitarist.
David Gilmour, CBE (March 6, 1946) is an English rock musician, best known as the lead guitarist, one of the lead singers and one of the main songwriters in the progressive rock band Pink Floyd and has enjoyed a successful career as a solo artist.  SOLD

Miles Davis (May 26, 1926 – Sept. 28, 1991) was an American trumpeter, bandleader, and composer. One of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, Miles Davis was at the forefront of several major developments in jazz music. SOLD

Jimmy Page, OBE (born Jan. 9, 1944) is an English multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and record producer. He began his career as a studio session guitarist in London and was subsequently a member of The Yardbirds from 1966 to 1968, after which he founded the English rock band Led Zeppelin.

Frank Zappa (Dec. 21, 1940 – Dec. 4, 1993) was an American composer, singer-songwriter, electric guitarist, record producer, and film director. Zappa produced all of the more than 60 albums he released over 30-plus years.

Too Tough
Keith Richards (born Dec. 18, 1943) is an English musician, co-songwriter, and founding member of the rock band the Rolling Stones. His innovative rhythm guitar playing was cited when Rolling Stone magazine ranked Richards as the "10th greatest guitarist of all time."

Sir Mick Jagger (born July 26, 1943) is an English musician, singer-songwriter, actor and producer, best known as the lead vocalist of The Rolling Stones. Jagger has also acted in and produced films.
